Description
Navajo handwoven Klagetoh rug woven by Helen Johnson. The Klagetoh weaving is very similar to the Ganado rugs, but with a predominantly gray background instead of the Ganado’s red. Some experts do not consider Klagetoh a specific regional rug but a sub-type of Ganado. This particular rug is woven with commercially dyed wool which the weaver has re-washed and re-spun. The design is a single diamond with stepped patterns. This is a one of a kind item. The size of this rug is 46″ x 72″
