This is a stunning dancing walrus carved from a colorful piece of serpentine by Lucassie Etungat. It is perfectly balanced and graceful. Its delicate movements and perfect proportions make it an outstanding sculpture.
Etungat, a well-known Inuit carver from Cape Dorset, has lived in Kimmirut and most recently in Iqaluit. But the man has been missing since June 29, 2016.
