Noah Kelly carved this dancing bear which has great form from any angle. The serpentine stone is beautifully colored with brown-green tones with beautiful veins running through the stone.
The piece measures 17″ x 9″ x 8″
Noah Kelly from Cape Dorset was born in 1978. Noah is known for his carvings of bears, dancing and walking, and walruses. His work is full of life and often contains a sense of humour. His mother was famous graphic Inuit artist Meelia Kelly.
