14K and Sterling Belt Buckle with a Navajo Rug Design by Robert Taylor (Navajo.) The buckle measures 1 3/4″ x 2 3/8 and will fit a belt up to 1 3/8″.
Robert Taylor was born on the Navajo Reservation at Indian Wells in 1961. His father was a medicine man, and his mother and wife are weavers. Robert started working in metals as a child helping his father and older siblings. He turned to making jewelry professionally as a young adult after working in construction for several years. He is known for his overlay technique in silver and gold. He currently resides with his family on the Navajo Reservation.
